Police undercover operations
Operation Switch is the story of the first long term undercover police sting in the United States.

In 1977 Las vegas Nevada was plagued with burglaries, thefts and other property crimes. Two detectives come up with a plan. First they must get approval for something that has never been done, find the money to support such an operation and then find the right personnel who are unknown to the criminal element yet know Law Enforcement. They find three FBI agents and two former military investigative personnel that fit their bill. Next they have to locate the right place for a store front operation and prepare it in case something goes wrong. When that is complete they face their biggest hurdle, how to get the word on the street that a new fence for stolen property is in town and paying top dollar.
